We highly encourage those businesses with food donations to offer within our County to use the Meal Connect website to get connected to a local organization that will be able to use the product.

Meal Connect

El Cerrito businesses with food donations to offer should use the Meal Connect website to connect to a local organization that meets all SB 1383-related requirements and is prepared to pick-up and use the product.

Acceptable donations: bread/bakery, deli, dairy, meat, produce, dry goods (canned, packaged shelf stable)

NOTE: no opened packages accepted, all items must include appropriate product labeling AND ingredients, expiration dates and/or best-by and/or sell-by dates. Agency assigned for pick-up of donation has the right to refuse any product based on temperature, packaging and volume.

Large-Scale Donations
